The Rotary Club of Geelong Central is proud to present a compilation of student stories entered in our 2016 Short Story competition.
All profits from the sale of the book will go towards maintaining this Rotary project.
During 2016, 38 students in grades 3 and 4 from four local Geelong-region schools (Chilwell Primary School, Fyans Park Primary School, Lara Lake Primary School and Torquay College) participated in our competition.
Three prizes were awarded each in the grade 3 and 4 entries, and an overall school prize.
Competition judge Peter Drummond, retired Geelong High School Vice Principal and proud Rotarian, noted the fantastic creativity and story-writing passion and imagination of our local students.
